About

About StreamReady

StreamReady is an internet speed test for Fire TV (Vega OS) that tells you whether your TV can stream in 4K.

It measures download and upload speed, idle latency (ping), and latency under load, graded A to F. From these it gives a streaming verdict: HD 720p, Full HD 1080p, 4K, and two 4K TVs at once. Measurements use the open M-Lab ndt7 protocol. StreamReady is in pre-release and under active development.
